Presenting data is an important method of conveying information and data in order to support decisions and choices.

Often, clear presentation of data is all you need in order to communicate your findings. If you go on to calculate statistics as well, it is still important to present data clearly so that you can explain what your analysis is showing.

Types of data that you may want to present can include:

• percentages
• trends
• descriptive statistics
• distributions

These can be done relatively simply using the facilities provided in Excel.
