Flowcharts
Go with the flow...
Flow charts provide a really good method of illustrating how different stages of a project relate to each other and how different factors may influence progress. Indeed, they can be used to illustrate the various procedures and contingencies in a task analysis in a way that makes it much easier for other people to understand and comment on.
Often, flowcharts can be used to great effect within a project proposal and a project report. They can also be used to clearly show which milestones in a project are important and where remedial action may be required and how this can be accomplished.
